Your questions, answered

Straight answers to what people ask us most, before you pull in.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome, especially for flats. Call ahead if you need a specific size so we can check stock.

Can every flat be fixed?

Not always. Punctures in the sidewall or bigger than about a quarter inch usually mean a new tire. We'll show you before we decide.

How long does a flat repair take?

Most repairs are done while you wait. We'll tell you the time when you pull in.

Do you sell used tires?

Yes. Every used tire is checked for tread depth and damage before we mount it.

Do you have my size?

Call with the size on your tire's sidewall (for example 225/65R17) and we'll check what's in stock.

How do I know if I need new tires?

Check the tread: at 2/32 of an inch a tire is worn out, and grip in the rain drops well before that. Cracks, bulges or bald spots also mean it's time. Pull in and we'll measure it for you.

What does the tire pressure light mean?

At least one tire is well below its recommended pressure, often from a slow leak or a cold snap. Have it checked soon: driving on a low tire wears it fast and can damage it.

Why is my car pulling to one side?

Often a tire that's low or worn unevenly, sometimes alignment or suspension. We check the tires first and tell you what we find.

Do I have to replace tires in pairs?

Not always, but matching tires on the same axle keeps handling even. If one tire is much newer than its partner, we'll tell you whether replacing both makes sense.

Tire trouble? Pull in.

Call the shop or just come by. We'll check it and get you back on the road.
